RWS-PS #204 - Fruit of the Spirit
RWS-PS #204, Fruit of the Spirit, by Lisa Smith, consists of an
introductory lesson, nine lessons on the characteristics of the fruit of the
Spirit, and three lessons of review and additional teaching about the importance
of having all nine fruit of the Spirit evident in our lives. Students memorize
the nine characteristics. There are many circle the correct picture-answers,
mazes and things to color or paste for young preschoolers. More difficult
activities are given for those who can print simple words. Mrs. Smith also
teaches first graders in her Bible class, and has included the activities to
challenge them.
Lisa Smith worships with the Vinland church of Christ in Kansas, where Joe and
Barbara Hanna worshiped before moving to Texas. She has taught children in
Bible class for many years, and is very talented at presenting the lessons in a
manner in which the children clearly understand what is being taught. She gives
teachers a section where she tells how she would teach the lesson to her own
